New York Guard Prospect Has D-1 Interest

Danny Lawhorn, a 6-foot guard from New York City, continues to produce some good numbers in his prep season at the Robinson School in New Jersey.

Danny has been working hard to improve his shooting consistency and continues to make progress adding more strength to his frame.

RECRUITING INTEREST IN DANNY LAWHORN'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Maryland Eastern Shore, Marshall, Miami of Florida, SMU, Iona, UAB, St. John's, Providence, California

Lawhorn hopes a great season will land some scholarship offers.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

Danny told us previously he was going to play at Robinson Prep School in New Jersey for the 2010-2011 high school season.

DANNY LAWHORN'S SEASON AT THE ROBINSON SCHOOL:

Danny produced 18 points, contributed 12 assists and four steals to help the Robinson School defeat Rise Academy of Pennsylvania, 102-72.

EVALUATION OF DANNY LAWHORN'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

*Lawhorn is a tough guard, willing to take the ball to the rim against the bigger bodies. He competes hard on both ends of the court. He has the New York attitude, fearless when it comes to taking the rock to the basket.
