East Coast Prospect Has Division One Offers

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a recruiting update on an East Coast prospect who competed this past summer for Matt Pauls' Team NJABC boy's basketball AAU program ...

Eric Fanning, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound hard-working power forward/small forward prospect from The Perkiomen School in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, has some offers from MAAC and NEC college baskeetball programs, according to Team NJABC head coach Matt Pauls.

Team NJABC, located in the state of New Jersey, competed in some of the best tournaments across the country this past summer, helping Fanning improve several aspects of his individual game.

Because of the progress, as Pauls noted, several division one programs expressed interest in his skill level. Recently, Stony Brook of Long Island, New York showed interest in his skill level.

Only a junior, reclassified to the class of 2012, Fanning remains open in his recruiting process.

CURRENT RECRUITING INTEREST:

Stony Brook, Army, Colgate, Coastal Carolina, UMES, The Citadel, St. Francis of Pennyslvania, and Quinnipiac.

WHAT MATT PAULS PREVIOUSLY SAID ABOUT ERIC FANNING AND HIS INDIVIDUAL GAME:

"He practices hard all the time, always looking to make improvements in his game."

PREVIOUS EVALUATION OF ERIC FANNING'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Eric is a solid student too, opening up some academic options if he wishes to explore them over the next two seasons.

Eric competes very hard on both ends of the court, working hard on every possession.
