Area Prospect Having Great Junior Season

Kenneth Coughlin a 5-10 1/2 linebacker/tight end from Tottenville High School in Staten Island, New York, continues to help his team to a great season. He recorded six tackles, two for losses and added two sacks. Tottenville is now 8-0.

Previously, we reported that Coughlin recorded a couple of sacks, several tackles and had a couple of quarterback pressures to help his team land a 41-13 victory.

RECRUITING INTEREST:

The 220-pounder, a member of the 2012 class and a junior, previously took a visit to North Carolina State. In addition, Delaware, Western Kentucky, and Duquesne have shown some recruiting interest.

In addition, we reported that Wagner, Memphis, and East Carolina at one time had shown interest.

DESCRIPTION OF COUGHLIN'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Kenneth's first game featured six tackles and two forced fumbles. The starting defense only played the first quarters in game number two.

Also, considered a multiple position player, Coughlin is also the long snapper for Tottenville. He was named to second team All City defense as a defensive tackle last season while also spending some minutes playing the defensive end and linebacker positions.

He currenty holds a 3.2 grade point average as well.
