Luke is a player working hard on getting stronger, adding some weight to his frame to be better prepared to meet the physical challenges of college basketball on the division one level
"We just started officially this week," he said. "Today (yesterday's practice) went well though."
Luke said he was excited about starting the season because of a very important reason. "We have a good group of hardworking guys," he said. "I think we'll be successful."
He has fully recovered from his surgery and says he feels comfortable and ready to have a great year. Luke had surgery on his finger and had been sidelined for several weeks.
"This year I am focused on getting stronger," he stated.
"Being heavier and stronger will no doubt help me immensely at the next level (division one college basketball level). Obviously I will continue to work on my skills such as shooting, ballhandling, defense, etc. There's always room for improvement."
Luke has signed with Richmond.

"I have a great relationship with the coaching staff. I also had a great connection with some of the players as well. I really liked the campus. It's a great program and a place where i can see myself contributing so it seemed a perfect fit."
