East Coast Guard Working Hard For D-1 Looks

Dylan Moody, a 5-foot-10, 167-pound backcourt guard prospect from Abington Friends School in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, has been working hard on his individual game to land some division one interest in his skill level.

Moody, who played in the scrimmage today against Simon Gratz High School of Philadelphia, is a senior guard from the 2011 class. He produced double digits in scoring last season for a very balanced offensive team from Abington Friends School in Pennsylvania.

THOUGHTS ABOUT DYLAN MOODY'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Dylan is a hard worker, competes effectively on both ends of the court, utilizing speed and quickness. He uses his fast hands to get steals.

DYLAN MOODY'S ROLE:

Moody is sometimes called upon to help run the offense when the team's top lead guard, Joey Gripper, is taking a rest. At other times, they are paired in the backcourt to put even more pressure speed wise on the defense.

THOUGHTS ON DYLAN MOODY FROM THE COACHING STAFF AT AFS:

"He is a very good shooter, possessing good speed. He's also a very capable defender.

"Dylan is still working on polishing his skills but he does a nice job complimenting Gripper when they play together in the backcourt.

"Dylan does a great job with on the ball defense and this allows Gripper to get his hands in the passing lane, leading to more steals."

EARLY COLLEGE INTEREST IN MOODY'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Low division one programs, one high division two programs are currently involved.
