PLAYER PROFILE: Jabril Trawick

HEIGHT: 6-foot-4

WEIGHT: 182 pounds

POSITIONS: Can play a couple of of positions -- small Forward and shooting guard

CLASS: 2011, a current senior

HIGH SCHOOL: Abington Friends School in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania

HIGH SCHOOL HEAD COACH: Steve Chadwin

AAU TEAM: Team Phenom from the city of Philadelphia

AAU HEAD COACH: Paul Gripper

COLLEGE/UNIVERSITIES OF INTEREST: Jabril signed a letter of intent with Georgetown, according to his AAU coach, Paul Gripper of Team Phenom (out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania).

Gripper feels Jabril's overall game is suited for the Georgetown style of play and Trawick should be a fine Big East player.

According to Coach Gripper: Jabril runs the floor well, can turn a mistake by the other team into two points on the other end with his speed and skill.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

Jabril previously landed scholarship offers from several other programs including Florida State, LaSalle, Fairfield, Drexel, Robert Morris, Delaware, Richmond, and VCU before deciding to sign with Georgetown.

TRAWICK'S TOP GAMES IN 2009-2010:

*Jabril scored 18 points, had four steals and produced three blocks in a battle against The Academy of New Church, a team that features highly ranked Rakeem Christmas and Savon Goodman.

TRAWICK'S TOP GAMES THIS PAST SUMMER AND ALSO THIS FALL:

Jabril scored 12 points and hauled down seven rebounds in a losing effort in the Mustafa Shakure Chosen League tournament held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Trawick's team, Jrue Holiday, was upended 54-48, in a hard-fought championship game by the Shakur squad.

Previously, Jabril produced 21 points and had three blocks in a victory at an event held in South Carolina. Jabril played for Team Phenom of Philadelphia, Penn. this summer.

Earlier in the summer, Jabril produced 27 points and grabbed five rebounds to help his team defeat Team Loaded, 97-90.

TOP GAMES IN 2010-2011 REGULAR SEASON:

Jabril scored 16 points in limited action to help his high school team blast Mercersberg, 72-43. Jabril continues to show his diversity, producing points from several spots on the floor.

Trawick has averaged double figures in points so far this season.
