"I know you have to get stronger and be quicker because the game is faster on the next level," he said. "So I try to work on as much as I can in practice."
Previously, Luke had been battling a banged up knee. He hurt his kneed during the second game of the season but he has recovered from the MCL sprain.
Luke recovered from an earlier surgery on his finger and was sidelined for several weeks in the fall.
"Being heavier and stronger will no doubt help me immensely at the next level (division one college basketball level). Obviously I will continue to work on my skills such as shooting, ballhandling, defense, etc. There's always room for improvement."
Luke has signed with Richmond.
LUKE'S THOUGHTS ON HIS NEXT SCHOOL -- RICHMOND:
"I have a great relationship with the coaching staff. I also had a great connection with some of the players as well. I really liked the campus. It's a great program and a place where i can see myself contributing so it seemed a perfect fit."
