Marcus Hopper, the 6-foot-9, 238-pounder from Holy Cross High School in Flushing, New York, has consistently averaged close to a double/double in points and rebounds over the past two season.

He plays in the very tough New York City Catholic League and has made progress in some key areas of his individual game. MARCUS HOPPER'S RECRUITING INTEREST:

Fairfield, Providence, UMBC, Marist, Winthrop and Siena.

INDIVIDUAL AREAS OF FOCUS FOR MARCUS HOPPER:

Marcus has spent a lot of time working on his inside game, his offensive moves near the basket, improving his foot movement.

PREVIOUS EVALUATION OF MARCUS HOPPER'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Marcus is a player worth watching this spring and summer on the AAU circuit due to his physical frame and the willingness to work hard. His head coach at Holy Cross, Paul Gilvary, feels that Hopper is going to make a solid division one player because he picks up things quickly and uses them in game action.
