Bruce Brittingham, a 6-foot, 190-pound fooitball and basketball athlete from The Perkiomen School in Pennsburg, Pennyslvania, said he does have a short list of schools he is interested in right now in his recruiting process.

"So far I've been hearing from Connecticut, Villanova, Akron and Georgia State," he said.

Bruce is currently competing for the boy's basketball team.

He has already seen the campus of Connecticut.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

We reported previously that Bruce took a campus trip to a rising Big East football program. "My visit to Connecticut was great," said Brittingham. "I enjoyed getting to know more about the school and the football program."

WHAT HIS AAU BASKETBALL COACH MATT PAULS THINKS ABOUT BRUCE BRITTINGHAM'S ATHLETIC CAREER:

"Bruce is also an effective basketball player, landing some low division one looks. He works very hard. He is a tough competitor worker who improves each practice and game. He has the heart of a lion.

"Bruce competes much bigger than his size. He's on the glass a lot, battling for loose balls against the bigger bodies in the paint and scoring near the lip of the rim."
