As he gains strength, he'll finish better and more consistently near the rim.

McCoy has given a commitment to play division one college basketball at Manhattan College in New York City and should be a fine four-year player for the men's basketball program.

WHAT HIS AAU HEAD COACH, MATT PAULS OF TEAM NJABC, THINKS OF RYAN MCOY'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

"He's going to be a very good player for the program of Manhattan," said Pauls, who has seen several from his AAU program land division one scholarships.

Pauls has always been excited McCoy's individual game because of his high skill level and his ability to knock down perimeter shots.

He previously had recruiting interest from schools like New Hampshire, Wagner, Dartmouth, and Colorado State.
