Holy Cross Senior Having Terrific Senior Year

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a look at the individual game of Holy Cross senior prospect Evan Conti, who is having a successful season for Paul Gilvary's boy's basketball program ...

Evan Conti, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound small forward/shooting guard from Holy Cross High School in Flushing, New York, has had a terrific senior season for Paul Gilvary's boy's basketball program.

Currently, Evan is scoring 18 points a game while being a major factor defensively and on the glass, hauling down 10 rebounds per contest. Conti is also very efficient in finding the open player too, averaging almost five assists per game.

Conti already has an offer from the University of Hartford and interest has been building from Kent State, New Hampshire, Fairfield, and Holy Cross College.

Conti is already cleared academically by the NCAA.

An injury hurt Evan early in his recruiting process. "I had a lot more interest last year but I was out for three months in the AAU season with a broken ankle and a lot of those schools stopped recruiting me."

Evan plays AAU basketball for the Rising Stars under head coach Danny Gimple.
