Upstate Underclassman Having Good Year

Jermaine Crumpton, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound small forward/power forward from Niagara Falls High School in Niagara Falls, New York, is one of the players head coach Sal Costantino has been excited about over the past few months.

Crumpton is a tough rebounder, plays hard on both ends of the floor, and has been improving his individual game.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

He produced 10 points and helped his team on the glass in a a victory over Grand Island High School.

In addition, Crumpton scored 17 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a win over Canisius of Buffalo, New York, 77-58.

In a previous game, Jerome had seven points and six rebounds. "He took two huge charges for us at key times of the game," said Niagara Falls head coach Sal Costantino.

WHAT HEAD COACH SAL COSTANTINO THINKS OF JERMAINE CRUMPTON'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

"Jermaine's a gymrat," said Costantino. "He does a great job on the glass and excels in transition."

"Jermaine got his first questionaire," Costantino said. "It was from Washington. Hopefully, this is just the first of many he'll receive."
