Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a look at the individual game and regular season progress of a senior prospect from Holy Cross High School in Flushing, New York ...

Evan Conti, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound small forward/shooting guard from Holy Cross High School in Flushing, New York, is a key player for head coahc Paul Gilvary's highly regarded boy's basketball program.

DESCRIPTION OF EVAN CONTI'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

He is a leader, a senior who is counted on at both ends of the court to make the key plays. Currently, Conti is averaging almost 17 points a game and recording nearly 10 rebounds per contest.

He is an unselfish player too, finding open teammates usually around four to five times a game for baskets.

RECRUITING INTEREST FOR EVAN CONTI:

Conti has an offer from the University of Hartford and recruiting interest from schools like Kent State, New Hampshire, Fairfield, and Holy Cross College.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

An injury last season hurt Conti's chances of drawing more recruiting interest early in his recruiting process. "I had a lot more interest last year but I was out for three months in the AAU season with a broken ankle and a lot of those schools stopped recruiting me."

Evan plays AAU basketball for the Rising Stars under head coach Danny Gimple.
