Marcus Hopper, the 6-foot-9, 238-pounder from Holy Cross High School in Flushing, New York, has produced a very fine season for his basketball team and head coach Paul Gilvary.

Hopper is scoring around 14 points a game while hauling down an impressive 12 boards per contest. He continues to make progress in his low post moves and defensive quickness.

"I feel I have made improvements in my perimeter game," he said. "I've also worked very hard to be a better defensive player."

Marcus has dropped in 43 percent from beyond the three-point line.

MARCUS HOPPER'S RECRUITING PROCESS:

New Hampshire, Robert Morris, Holy Cross College Fairfield, Providence, UMBC, Marist, Winthrop and Siena have been mentioned by Marcus as schools of interest.
