New Jersey Prospect Having Sparkling Season

Anthony Gaffney, a 6-foot-2, 170-pound football/basketball prospect from The Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, continues to have a very good basketball season.

Gaffney is averaging 19 points and nine rebounds per contest for a program that is in its playoffs.

"Season is going well," Gaffney said. "We just won our opening round games of our prep and county tournies these past two nights."

But there's more to accomplish. "Our next game is Wednesday for the counties and then Sunday is our next state game."

Anthony feels his consistency has been improved this season.

Gaffney has signed with Holy Cross to play football.

His midrange game has improved dramatically. He has been attacking the rim with a vengeance. He needs improve his ballhandling and penetrating left.
