Two-Sport Student/Athlete Having Great Year

Chandler Fraser-Pauls, a two-sport student/athlete from the Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, continues to have a very impressive senior season on the hardwood.

Chandler is averaging 20 points and seven assists per contest for the playoff bound boy's basketball team.

Fraser-Pauls signed a letter of intent with Lafayette to play soccer on a scholarship. In addition, he plans on walking on and competing for the division one college basketball team.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

We reported the talented student/athlete accepted a scholarship from Lafayette to play soccer. Boston University had also offered a soccer scholarship.

Chandler has the skill level to make solid contributions in soccer and basketball. The senior's leadership skills have progressed as well, making him an attractive pickup for Lafayette.

CHANDLER'S BASKETBALL SEASON IN 2009-2010:

Fraser-Pauls, who helped his team win another Mercer County Championship, sparked his team to a 23-2 record in basketball this past season.

Fraser-Pauls, who averaged 16 points a game and five assists per contest his season as a junior, will graduate this spring.

Chandler worked very hard on his mid-range perimeter game and landed many honors over the past month from the top newspapers in the New Jersey area.

In addition, he sharpened his floor general skills over the past season and during the summer AAU events.

AFTER PLAYING SOCCER AND BASKETBALL:

Fraser-Pauls, who competes at the midfield and forward positions for the soccer team, is going to school for a career in coaching.
