East Coast Senior Prospect Having Good Season

Reporter Mike Sullivan takes a look at the individual game and regular season progress of East Coast prospect Dylan Moody, who has had some fine games this year for his high school basketball team ...

Dylan Moody, a 5-foot-10, 165-pound guard prospect from Abington Friends School in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, continues to have a very good season for his basketball program.

Dylan has averaged nearly nine points a game and he plays on a team that has several division one prospects. Moody has improved many aspects of his game, including seeking out open teammates for better looks at the basket.

DYLAN'S TOP GAMES THIS SEASON FOR AFS:

Dylan scored 11 points and handed out five assists in a solid effort against Shipley. He helped AFS win the contest. Moody, who also had no turnovers despite handling the ball quite a bit, has made some solid improvements in playing the point guard position.

Previously, we reported Dylan had eight points and four assists to help his high school team defeat Trenton Catholic, 59-48. In addition, Moody had three rebounds and one steal.

THOUGHTS ABOUT DYLAN MOODY'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Dylan is a hard worker, competes effectively on both ends of the court, utilizing speed and quickness. He uses his fast hands to get steals.

THOUGHTS ON DYLAN MOODY FROM THE COACHING STAFF AT AFS AS WELL AS HIS AAU TEAM:

"He is a very good shooter, possessing good speed. He's also a very capable defender.

"Dylan is still working on polishing his skills but he does a nice job complimenting Gripper when they play together in the backcourt.

"Dylan does a great job with on the ball defense and this allows Gripper to get his hands in the passing lane, leading to more steals."

EARLY COLLEGE INTEREST IN MOODY'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Low division one programs, some high division two programs continue to show interest in his recruiting process.
