Holy Cross Senior Hoping For Big Finish

Marcus Hopper, the 6-foot-9, 238-pounder from Holy Cross High School in Flushing, New York, said he's very excited about being able to play in a championship game this evening at Christ The King School in Middle Village, New York.

Hopper has had a very good season for highly regarded head coach Paul Gilvary.

Hopper has produced 14 points per game while improving his rebounding skills from a year ago, hauling down 12 rebounds per game.

WHAT MARCUS HOPPER SAYS ABOUT HIS INDIVIDUAL GAME PROGRESS:

"I feel I have made improvements in my perimeter game," he said. "I've also worked very hard to be a better defensive player."

**Hopper has extended his perimeter range, knocking down 43 percent of this three-point attempts.

New Hampshire, Robert Morris, Holy Cross College Fairfield, Providence, UMBC, Marist, Winthrop and Siena.

"Marcus has a nice frame. He works hard. He knows what he has to do to become a better player. He's a good listener. He's smart and picks up things. So this is great for him in the future.
