East Coast Guard Prospect Has Nice Season

Dylan Moody, a 5-foot-10, 167-pound guard prospect from Abington Friends School in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, had a solid season, making improvements in his consistency and point guard skills. This allowed him to gain some interest recruiting wise as the season went along.

Dylan averaged nearly nine points a game. He was wise with the ball and did a nice job finding the open man.

DYLAN MOODY'S TOP GAMES THIS SEASON FOR AFS:

Dylan scored 11 points and handed out five assists in one of his best efforts of the season, helping his team upend Shipley. The most impressive part of this game was Dylan didn't turn the ball over despite have many touches during the contest.

OTHER GAMES OF NOTE:

Dylan also scored eight points and handed out four assists to help his high school team defeat Trenton Catholic, 59-48.

Dylan also had three rebounds and one steal. This was an average type of game for Dylan Moody this past season.

THOUGHTS ABOUT DYLAN MOODY'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Dylan is a hard worker, competes effectively on both ends of the court, utilizing speed and quickness. He uses his fast hands to get steals.

THOUGHTS ON DYLAN MOODY FROM THE COACHING STAFF AT AFS AS WELL AS HIS AAU TEAM:

"He is a very good shooter, possessing good speed. He's also a very capable defender.

"Dylan is still working on polishing his skills but he does a nice job complimenting Gripper when they play together in the backcourt.

"Dylan does a great job with on the ball defense and this allows Gripper to get his hands in the passing lane, leading to more steals."

EARLY COLLEGE INTEREST IN MOODY'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Low division one programs, some high division two programs have expressed the most interest in the guard's skill level.
