NY Big Man Still Has Many Options

Marcus Hopper, the 6-foot-9, 238-pounder from Holy Cross High School in Flushing, New York, told us he's still thinking over each and every option he has right now. "I have a chance to play college basketball or go to prep school if I want," he said recently. "I'm still considering all the options."

Previously, Marcus stated: "I have three new offers. Hartford, Marist and Mississippi Valley State have made offers."

Marcus also told us that George Mason and Quinnipiac were being considered.

PREVIOUS RECRUITING PROCESS:

Marcus previously told us that Georgia Southern and Bowling Green were also involved He averaged 14 points per game while grabbing 12 rebounds per contest during the 2010-2011 boy's basketball season

WHAT MARCUS HOPPER SAYS ABOUT HIS INDIVIDUAL GAME PROGRESS:

"I feel I have made improvements in my perimeter game," he said "I've also worked very hard to be a better defensive player "

**Hopper has extended his perimeter range, knocking down 43 percent of this three-point attempts

MARCUS HOPPER'S RECRUITING PROCESS:

In addition to the two schools mentioned above, Robert Morris, New Hampshire, Robert Morris, Holy Cross College, Fairfield, UMBC, Marist, Winthrop and Siena are of interest.
