Final Look: Chandler Fraser-Pauls

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a detailed free look at the individual game and future of talented student/athlete Chandler Fraser-Pauls of The Pennington School in New Jersey ...

Chandler Fraser-Pauls, a multi-talented student/athlete from The Pennington School in New Jersey, has a resume written for success in the future. A quality two-sport athlete, Chandler is also very skilled in the classroom, giving himself ample opportunities when he graduates college.

Recently, Chandler competed in the Mary Kline Memorial All Star Game, produced by talent scout Alex Kline in memory of his mom.

"Chandler is clearly one of the top shooters in the state of New Jersey," said Kline. "He exhibited that in the three-point contest, despite not being able to find his range in the game.

"Chandler can also take it to the hole and find his teammates. He is a streaky player who can make a huge impact as a walk-on at Lafayette."

ON THE HARDWOOD:

Chandler scored close to 20 points a game this past season for the boy's basketball team at The Pennington School while handing out seven assists per contest for a program that played some very tough teams.

Fraser-Pauls has already inked a letter of intent with Lafayette to play soccer on a scholarship. But he's more than a soccer player. He could walk on and play for the men's basketball team while trying to reach the goal of getting a degree at one of the country's toughest academic schools.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

Chandler accepted a scholarship from Lafayette to play soccer. Boston University had also offered a soccer scholarship previously in his recruiting process.

Chandler has the skill level to make solid contributions in both sports -- soccer and basketball. The senior's leadership skills are also impressive and are important also out of the sports arena.
