Kazembe Abif, a 6-foot-7, 210-pound power forward who competed at the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey this past season, is preparing himself to be division one college ready for this fall.

Abif, who has signed his letter of college intent with Drexel, according to his AAU head coach, Matt Pauls of Team NJABC, has worked very hard to prepare himself to be an effective division one college basketball player.

WHAT TEAM NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS SAID ABOUT KAZEMBE ABIF:

"He signed with Drexel," said Pauls, who saw Abif make great progress in his individual game over the past two seasons.

"He'll be a fine college player for Drexel," said Pauls. "He works very hard and is very quick for his size."

"He has a tremendous motor," Pauls said. "He plays hard every possession."

"He attacks the rim,"added Pauls. "He's very physical on the boards making him a tremendous rebounder."
