Area Big Man Hopes To Make Improvements

Reporter Mike Sullivan takes a detailed look at the individual game and future of New Jersey based big man Jack Taylor, who has been working hard to make progress ...

Jack Taylor, a 6-foot-11, 235-pound center who originally came from The Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, is a player who has worked very hard over the past year to make improvements inn his individual game.

Jack recently competed in the talent-rich Mary Kline Memorial All Star game held at the Pennington School. He scored five points in the all star game held in memory of Alex Kline's mother, Mary, who passed away so young from cancer.

Alex was kind enough to give us his thoughts about Jack Taylor's individual game:

"Jack's size always creates mismatches for defenders. Despite his lack in athleticism, ball handling and ability to create a shot, the 6'11 prep school big man played fairly well against some talented, older players. Taylor ran the court well and was very alert on defense. He forced a few shots but ended up making two of them."

Taylor has also competed in events held at Fordham too.
