Ramir Burton, a 6-foot-1 junior backcourt prospect from Niagara Falls High School in upstate New York, has recently seen some interesting division one interest after having a wonderful summer and fall of AAU play.

According to Niagara Falls High School boy's basketball head coach, Sal Costantino, Ramir has interest Cornell, Colgate, Lehigh and Brown.

Coach Costantino said Ramir is wide open in his recruiting process.

SUMMER AND FALL PROGRESS FOR JUNIOR GUARD RAMIR BURTON OF NIAGARA FALLS HIGH SCHOOL:

Burton averaged over 12 points a game as Niagara Falls High School won five of its six games in the Canisius team camp during the early portion of the summer schedule.

In addition, Burton delivered 19 points in a victory over Canisius High School.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

Niagara Falls High School claimed the Daemen Team Camp held in Buffalo, New York. Playing the weekend without three starters, Burton was simply wonderful.

Ramir was awarded Most Valuable Player honors by averaging 20 points a game and handing out an impressive eight assists per contest.

Niagara Falls High School won four of its five contests, beating St. Joe's of Buffalo in the final, 69-59.

"Ramir was a mid season call-up for us last year," said Costantino, whose team had an impressive 19-2 record, losing to Jamestown in the playoffs, the eventual state finalist.

Costantino on Ramir: "Burton has good length that allows him to guard different positions. He will be a big pieces of the NFHS upcoming season highlighted with two games in the Prime Time Shootout in New Jersey.

Ramir carries a 3.3 in accelerated classes.
