Lead Guard Prospect Hopes For Big Season

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a detailed look at the individual game and future of an up and coming guard prospect who will be competing for one of the better boy's basketball programs on the East Coast ...

Cameron Heywood, a 5-foot-4 lead guard prospect from the tri-state area, is one of the better underclassman to keep an eye on as the winter months take place.

Heywood is a member of the 2015 class and will compete for Paramus Catholic High School in the state of New Jersey.

From Spring Valley, New York, Cameron is coming off a very good summer and fall of AAU play and should get some key minutes for his high school team this winter.

LOOKING AT CAMERON HEYWOOD'S INDIVIDUAL BASKETBALL GAME:

Heywood is a solid three point shooter who has good leadership skills. As he matures physically, his skill level will rise as will his consistency in running the offense.

He has competed effectively in AAU competition and in the IS8 spring and fall leagues.
