Long Island Underclassman Having Solid Year

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a detailed look at the individual game and regular season progress of an underclassman from Long Island, New York in Terry Harris ...

Terry Harris, a 6-foot-5, 183-pound guard/forward from Half Hollow Hills West High School in Dix Hills, New York, recently took an unofficial campus visit to Miami. His father, Torrel, said Terry and the family came away impressed with the coaching staff and facilities.

Terry has had a solid season, recording six double/doubles. He is still very young and will likely grow past 6-foot-10, according to the family.

Previously, Harris took in the St. John's-Georgetown Big East basketball game.

Harris' best game came in New York City at the Joakim Noah tournament held in the borough of Queens. He ripped off 40 points in the contest and showed the ability to dominate a game with his offensive skills from many spots on the floor.

Terry is a member of the 2014 class and has a few seasons to improve physically and skill wise, making him an attractive division one prospect.
