Cameron Heywood, a 5-foot-4 lead guard prospect from the tri-state New York City area, is a backcourt player worth watching over the next couple of years. He is still very young but improving month to month.

A member of the 2015 class, Heywood has more games and tournaments ahead to grow, gain strength and improve his skill level.

He currently competes for Paramus Catholic High School of New Jersey.

From Spring Valley, New York, Heywood is a quick player that can break a defense down with his dribble and possesses quick hands too.

LOOKING AT CAMERON HEYWOOD'S INDIVIDUAL BASKETBALL GAME:

Heywood is a solid three point shooter who has good leadership skills. As he matures physically, his skill level will rise as will his consistency in running the offense.

He has competed effectively in AAU competition and in the IS8 spring and fall leagues.
