On reversing his verbal commitment: "He's open, now," Costantino said. "He's open to any schools that want to recruit him. It's because Canisius let go the head coach."

Jermaine averaged 17 points and 10 rebounds per game for Niagara Falls high school this past season as a junior.

Previously, Crumpton scored 14 points to help his team upend Lockport in the quarterfinal of the playoffs.

In his best game in 2011-2012 regular season, Crumpton produced 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds earlier this year.

Crumpton has improved his play near the basket and is a more consistent player on the offensive side of the ball.

Crumpton played well at several individual team camps in the upstate New York area.

In one particular event, and in a championship game, he ripped off 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds showing he can be dominant in two many important parts of the game.
