Area Lead Guard Expects Big AAU Season

Winston Morgan, a 5-foot-11 lead guard prospect from East Catholic High School in Manchester, Connecticut, is expected to have a big role this spring and summer competing for one of the better basketball AAU programs in the country -- the Unique All Stars.

"Morgan averaged 19 points, seven assists and two steals per game last season," said Torrel Harris, the head coach of the Unique All Stars.

"He led his team to the quarterfinals in the State tournament and was voted team MVP and All Conference," added Harris.

TORREL HARRIS' DESCRIPTION OF WINSTON MORGAN'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Winston's strength as point guard is his ability to run a team, his defense, outside shooting and his ability to get into the lane and create. He has the ability to make other players better."

Harris stated Morgan will play this spring and summer with the Unique Allatars 16's & under team.

"As the coach of Unique All-Stars I have looking for points guard of Winston's ability for the past 10 years. He's a younger Chris Paul in the making." Winston is a member of the 2014 class.
