Ross had a productive summer playing with the Jersey Shore Cyclones. He also participated in the second session of the Eastern Invitational Camp. Correspondingly, he's attracted interest from a variety of programs and levels.
"I've heard from Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Providence," said Trampler. "A lot of the Ivy League, including Yale and Columbia, Vermont. Those are the schools that have been most consistent (in their interest)."
Trampler said that he had received scholarship offers from Fairleigh Dickinson, Mount St. Mary's, and the service academies.
"I'll probably go to Providence (on a visit)," said Trampler. "And I might go to Vermont and Air Force."
Trampler is looking for a program that will push him into the fray early.
"I'm looking for an opportunity to play," said Trampler. "And a good school, so after I'm done, I'll have opportunities."
Ross previously played at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, New Jersey.
Trampler carries an 81 average in the classroom. He scored a 1,700 on the new SAT.
