St. John's Not Among Top Schools With Grant

St. John's had been showing some interest in Keaton Grant ...

Keaton Grant, the versatile 6-foot-3 guard/forward from Bridgton Academy in Maine, had a good visit to Purdue, according to his head coach, Whit Lesure. "He enjoyed the trip and liked it a lot," Lesure said. "He probably will visit Boston College next weekend."

Lesure said that Grant still is open but likes Purdue and Boston College as among his top schools. Washington is also another school Grant has mentioned alongwith Tennessee.

"There are a lot of schools calling," Lesure said. "It's going to be a tough decision for Keaton. He has a lot of good options."

St. John's also spent some time recruiting Grant but it might be an uphill battle for the Red Storm. Norm Roberts and his staff have also been working hard some guards in the Jucos as well as Derwin Kitchen, a guard who initially had committed to Florida.
