No one was surprised with the effort that Michael Beasley produced last night. The 6-foot-9, 235-pound forward from the class of 2007 scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds to help his Blue team win a 141-139 slugfest over the White team at the Boost Mobile Elite 24 All Star game.

The event was held at the famed Rucker Park in Harlem. Beasley produced points from both the interior of a defense and from the perimeter. His soft shot helped the Blue team produce an early lead before a packed outside park filled with New York basketball fans.

NBA stars Jason Kidd, Ben Gordon and Kenyon Martin were on hand to watch the all star game too.

Besides Beasley's impressive performance, Jerryd Bayless was also terrific. He shared the team's MVP award with Beasley, scoring 15 points and adding six assists.

New Yorkers Lance Stephenson and Devin Ebanks also had solid games. Stephenson was terrific also in finding open players with his passes. He scored 15 points and recorded five assists. Ebanks added 13 points.

For the White team, JJ Hickson scored 34 points and shared the co-MVP honors for his team with Brandon Jennings, who found teammates 15 times during the game for baskets.

Kyle Singler, worthy of his high ranking, scored 16 points for the White team while Kevin Love had 13 points.
