And the reason why the Juice are fun to watch is the incredible amount of talent the team has and the skill level and intensity it possesses.
Morton has always demanded a big intensity level from all his players. It's why he is working so hard with his big man Brandon Walters, a 6-foot-9 forward who also plays for Morton at Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Tiny has previously stated he thinks Walters needs to adjust his mental approach to the game which would translate into a better physical performance. Sometimes Walters looks timid, afraid to mix it up for fear of drawing fouls.
It's a big season ahead for Walters. College coaches are monitoring and watching. Providence, Seton Hall, Rutgers, and Auburn are just a few schools recently mentioned as being schools of interest for Walters.
The official visits will come after Walters takes the SAT. But the next several months are key for Brandon and the level of interest. The Juice will need him to be more confident and aggressive in the low post to advance through the IS8 playoffs, slated to being in a few weeks.
