Hawks AAU Player Kenny Horton Selects School

Scout.com's East Coast recruiting expert Mike Sullivan has the latest recruiting information on Kenny Horton of the Westchester Hawks AAU program ...

It appears that Quinnipiac and Kenny Horton have found a marriage. According to Westchester Hawks head coach Phil Diasparra, Horton accepted a scholarship offer to this very successful division one program located in a beautiful part of Connecticut.

It also helped that New Yorker Joe DeSantis is running the program too. DeSantis is a tremendous worker and terrific coach.

Horton, a 6-foo-6, 170-pound forward/guard, who also plays for Ossining High School in Westchester County, New York, is a player who shined during the summer playing for the team-oriented Westchester Hawks AAU program.

Kenny did a solid job at both ends of the court. He displayed the ability to shoot the ball along the perimeter as well as help out inside with his rebounding skills.

Quinnipiac wasn't the only solid program recruiting Horton. According to Diasparra, Central Connecticut State and FDU, also highly regarded programs in the New York area, were taking a look at Horton.
