But when the playoffs start, Morton expects his top player to be a part of the championship run. "He (Michael Beasley) will be here in a couple of weeks," said Morton.
In his last appearance for the Juice All Stars, Beasley scored 50 points in helping his team defeat the Connecticut Basketball Club, 120-80.
Beasley was terrific both from the perimeter and in the low blocks. His ability to score overwhelmed any of his defenders who dared to guard him one-on-one.
Beasley is currently at Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Kansas State has been mentioned as a possible destination for Beasley next season.
If Michael is able to produce some playing time in the playoffs for Morton's Juice All Stars program, they will be extremely difficult to beat. "He's one of the best players in the country," Morton said.
Based upon some recent performances in New York (both at Rucker Park and IS8), he could be the best player on the high school/prep level.
