Big East Offer For Devin Hill

Reporter Mike Sullivan has some recruiting information on area forward Devin Hill, who recently picked up a Big East offer ...

Devin Hill, a solid 6-foot-9 forward who hails from St. Lukes in the state of Connecticut, is a well regarded prospect who has recently seen his recruiting process elevated by some high major interest.

According to Billy Lovett, Hill has an offer from a Big East school. "Devin got offered from Seton Hall," Lovett said. "He was recently at an event at Seton Hall this past week."

Lovett also stated George Mason, Massachusetts, Bradley, and Fairfield have extended a scholarship offer to Hill.

Hill has a couple of years to polish his individual game too. He is a 2008 recruit and a player who has dramatically improved under Lovett's coaching skills.

Devin took an unofficial visit to Georgia Tech in September. He is also interested in Indiana, St. John's, Cincinnati, Arizona, Illinois, and Clemson.

"Purdue called recently to express some interest," said Lovett, who is also coaching the New York City Gauchos at IS8 in the Fall League. "He's open."

And apparently the interest keeps escalating.
