Xaverian Forward Has High D-1 Interest

Reporter Mike Sullivan had a chance to speak to Patrick Jackson at IS8 this week ...

Quiet and modest about his ability to score on the court, Patrick Jackson lets his actions speak for his skills. Jackson, who was hampered with an ankle problem, attended some games this week at IS8. Unable to play, Patrick said he was looking forward to his winter of basketball.

While Cardozo coach Ron Naclerio encouraged him to continue to improve and work hard during the interview, Jackson just smiled and said, "I will."

Xaverian High School has a wonderful winning tradition and a great coaching staff. So it's likely the 6-foot-6 forward will continue to improve his game.

"I am interested in Miami, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Marquette, Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. John's," Jackson said. "There are other schools too."

Patrick has some time before he will officially sign a letter of intent. He is a member of the class of 2008, meaning he has another two seasons to improve his individual game.

Clearly, the best days are ahead for Jackson.
