Keeping An Eye On Markeys Dean's Mike Sullivan has a story on a player from St. Dominic's of Oyster Bay, New York ...

There are plenty of quality high school players on Long Island and in the New York City area. For the past several years, St. Dominic's has developed a terrific reputation on the court and in the classroom.

This site has kept a couple of eyes on St. Dominic's forward Markeys Dean, who has been a solid player for the Oyster Bay based school for the past three years.

Markeys Dean, a 6-foot-5 forward who has improved his game over the past year, could be a solid player for a division one program. "He's leaning to Stony Brook," said St. Dominic's head coach Rob Pavinelli.

Dean has previously stated he was interested in the Suffolk County based university. The reasons why Dean has offers is because he has displayed the ability to score from the perimeter and utilize his frame to score inside.

Dean has also mentioned interest in Ball State.
