Big Season Ahead For Devin Hill's East Coast recruiting expert Mike Sullivan examines the game of Devin Hill

During the next 12 months the recruiting process of many high school juniors will either intensify or drop off, based upon a high school and AAU season. It's an important timeframe for any high school basketball player ready to enter his or her senior year.

It's why the next year is big for Devin Hill, a forward who has received plenty of praise from one of the area's best coaches -- Billy Lovett.

Lovett spent some time coaching Hill during the summer when Devin played with the New York City Gauchos AAU program. Hill has great size -- 6-foot-9. He also has demonstrated an improvement in his overall game, an aspect consistently pointed out by Lovett.

The Big East schools are starting to nibble at Hill's recruitin process. Lovett has already confirmed an offer from the Seton Hall Pirates. Lovett also confirmed that Hill has been on the Seton Hall campus for an unofficial visit.

George Mason, Massachusetts, Bradley, and Fairfield have each told Hill he has a scholarship offer on the table.

Devin also took an unofficial visit to Georgia Tech in September. It is not clear right now how much interest head coach Paul Hewitt has in Hill. Devin also has interest in Indiana, St. John's, Cincinnati, Purdue, Rutgers, Arizona, Illinois, and Clemson. "He is open," Lovett has said.
