New York Swingman Should Return Soon's East Coast recruiting expert Mike Sullivan had the latest on Sylven Landesberg ...

It's a matter of time before Holy Cross star swingman Sylven Landesberg returns to help his team. According to head coach Paul Gilvary, it's a matter of days as opposed to weeks.

Landesberg hurt his ankle in a recent practice. "He stepped on someone's foot," said Gilvary, before Holy Cross went out and defeated Wings Academy at the Big Apple Challenge.

Gilvary, speaking near his bench at Baruch College in Manhattan, spent his time leading Cross to a big victory while Sylven sat on the bench. Landesberg was in uniform but did not attempt to spend anytime on the court, even during warmups.

"He'll be back soon," promised Gilvary.

Landesberg is being highly recruited. Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech were at a recent game but Sylven did not play also against Holy Trinity last week.

The 6-foot-6 offensive talent is considered by many to be among the best players in the 2008 class. Due to these reasons, schools like Rutgers, Seton Hall, Connecticut, Georgia Tech, St. John's, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Florida, Miami, and Kentucky have expressed interest.
