Robinson Makes Statement At Hoop Group Event

Reporter Mike Sullivan discusses the game of Jeff Robinson ...

It was only a couple of years ago that Jeff Robinson impressed many as a freshman playing at the Showcase in Orlando, Florida. Robinson was a key player for the New Jersey All Stars and had a great summer.

His game has come a long way since that event. Robinson is more confident with his perimeter game and stronger inside the paint.

At 6-foot-6, Robinson presents matchup problems for most teams. He is quick enough to go around his defender and also possesses a nice touch from the outside to keep his defender honest.

Robinson scored 23 points this past weekend in helping St. Patrick to a victory over Atlantic City at the Hoop Group Tip-Off Classic held on the campus of Seton Hall University.

Headed to Memphis, Robinson should be an impact player for John Calipari's basketball program. Robinson moves with quickness on the court. The lefty should be able to produce points at that high a level.

Jeff is also a very good athlete. He gets off his feet quick. As his perimeter game becomes more consistent, it should help him even further around the basket with his dribble.
