Syracuse Recruit Johnny Flynn Making Plans

Scout.com's Mike Sullivan has a story about Johnny Flynn and his plans for the Spring ...

There's a big season still to be played for Johnny Flynn at Niagara Falls High School in New York State. Flynn, the talented lead guard who will play next season at Syracuse University, is one of the best prospects in the 2007 class.

And he is being recognized as one of the best high school players. "He received an invitation to the NIKE Hoop Summit," said his AAU coach, Jeff Bishop of the GC Ballers.

Bishop has been a big supporter of Flynn since Day One. "He's having an outstanding season," Bishop said. "His team has won every game and he is averaging around 30 points a game."

Flynn is an outstanding player. He has a great first step to the basket. His ability to beat his defender with his dribble leads to either layups in the paint for sensational passes to his teammates for easy baskets.

"He knows how to find the open man," Fisher said.

Johnny is also looking forward to the Spring too. It's a chance to meet Michael Jordan at the Jordan All Star game, an event which will be held in New York City again in April.

"He has never met Michael," Bishop said. "It's going to be a thrill. Johnny is really excited about that."
