Tabb impressed us especially during last July's evaluation period in which he rattled off some very productive games for Jeff Bishop's GC Ballers AAU program. Tabb had some solid games at Jimmy Salmon's Playaz Ball held at Basketball City in New York City.
While Tabb competed at this event, it was clear the Providence Friars liked his game. The Friars made sure that they attended his games during the July period. According to Bishop, this has helped the Big East school in the recruiting process. "Rashon has a good relationship with the coaching staff there," Bishop said.
Whether this is enough to close the recruiting process remains to be seen. Because there is some competition for Tabb's skills. Buffalo and Duquesne have also offered Rashon. And as the winter moves along, Niagara Falls will continue to be showcased at some big events nationally, including a couple of days in New York City.
