An assistant from the Ohio Valley program was on hand for American Christian's 110-91 win over South Kent School at the Nike Super Six at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.
Originally a member of the class of 2006, Tuitt, a native of the Bronx, spent his first three years of high school at Samuel Gompers High in the Bronx. He spent last year at Boys 2 Men Academy in Chicago, where he reclassified.
"He's a defensive stopper," said Bergeron. "He runs the show. Against Laurinburg the other night, he was the key. I didn't give him much of a chance (against South Kent) because he picked up those early fouls."
