WHAT BOB OLIVA SAYS ABOUT RYAN PEARSON: "He has an unorthodox game. I'm not really sure what his game is. I think there's a lot of room for stretching the horizon. He can shoot it. He's got all of those floppy moves around the basket. Being lefty really helps him. He rebounds, and gets after the ball inside." WHAT BRIAN TOWEY SAYS ABOUT RYAN PEARSON: The best way to describe the rangy southpaw right now is as a face-up four-man with a smooth delivery.

He strokes it to mid-range, which is his comfort zone, but can also knock down shots to the arc. He has a solid feel for the game, sees the floor, and possesses some court savvy.

WHAT MIKE SULLIVAN SAYS ABOUT RYAN PEARSON: Ryan is a player who has unlimited skills in scoring. He has an uncanny ability to slide between defenders for baskets inside the paint. He is becoming more consistent too with his offensive game. And someday he will make a division one school happy when he signs his letter of intent.

RECRUITING PROCESS: Ryan is open in his recruiting process. Schools are trying to decide where Pearson fits in on the court offensively. But Ryan can score and mainly does it against bigger bodies inside the paint. St. John's is looking at Pearson seriously, according to sources.
