*It's a big week for all of these high schools, including Holy Cross, a program that features one of the best players in the 2008 class. Sylven Landesberg, a 6-foot-6 swingman from the Knights basketball program, is being recruited at a high division one level.

While at Holy Cross covering some CHSAA playoff games, Holy Cross head coach Paul Gilvary indicated that Sylven would eventually cut his list of schools down. "There are plenty of schools that would like to have him," Gilvary said. "Right now the list hasn't been cut down."

Florida, Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech, St. John's, Georgia Tech, Villanova, etc have been among the several that have indicated an interest in the high scoring wing player.

"Maybe it will get cut down soon," said Gilvary. "But I am not sure. It's up to Sylven and his family."
