WHAT BRIAN TOWEY SAYS ABOUT RYAN PEARSON: The best way to describe the rangy southpaw right now is as a face-up four-man with a smooth delivery.

He strokes it to mid-range, which is his comfort zone, but can also knock down shots to the arc. He has a solid feel for the game, sees the floor, and possesses some court savvy.

WHAT MIKE SULLIVAN SAYS ABOUT RYAN PEARSON: Pearson appeared to be banged up slightly against Holy Cross this past week in a game played on the campus of St. John's University. Ryan limped a bit and only scored six points in the 67-64 Royals win over the Knights in the semifinal game.

Pearson has a big week ahead as do all the players for Christ The King as the Royals battle St. Raymond's today at Fordham University for the CHSAA intersectional title. And Pearson's offenive skills need to be sharp to help Christ The King advance.

Ryan has an uncanny ability to slide between defenders for baskets inside the paint. He can move around bigger bodies on drives to the basket.

RECRUITING PROCESS: Ryan has a ability to score on drives to the rim. College coaches like to see players be aggressive in taking the basketball to the rim. The previous interest mentioned was St. John's but the more realistic expectations will come this spring and summer depending upon how Ryan fares on the AAU circuit.
