MIKE SULLIVAN'S VIEW OF JOHN RIEK SUAS' INDIVIDUAL GAME: John does a nice job in handling low post passes and making effective moves. He is also fundamentally alert too when the ball comes into the low post. John will use his long arms and height to his advantage. He puts the ball high above his head to eliminate any smaller players to strip him.

BRIAN TOWEY'S REVIEW OF JOHN RIEK SUAS' INDIVIDUAL GAME: John has only been in the country since mid-January, but has shown enough promise that high majors are already interested. Riek is active defensively. He has the ability to reject and alter shots by opponents trying the paint area offensively. Riek has also showed the ability to catch, turn, and score at close range. He's pretty mobile for a seven-footer, and has a tremendous wingspan. SCHOOLS SHOWING EARLY INTEREST: Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, St. John's, DePaul, and Arizona have been mentioned previously by Eric Jaklitsch as schools of interest.
