Upstate Forward Misses Rumble Event

Reporter Mike Sullivan has a story on Michael Goodman and his situation ...

Michael Goodman, a 6-foot-6 and 225-pound forward from Christian Brothers Acdaemy in upstate New York, did not make the trip to New York City this weekend to compete in the Rumble in the Bronx event.

"He is still recovering from his injury," said Albany City Rocks program director Jim Hart, who also happens to run the Rumble in the Bronx basketball event every year at Fordham University.

Hart believes that Goodman will play perhaps next week for the Albany City Rocks AAU team. Hart has been a big supporter of Goodman, who is considered a highly regarded prospect in the 2009 class.

The reporters from this website scouted Michael hard at the 16 and under Rumble in the Bronx field last year. Hart believes that Goodman is a high major prospect. There is still time to determine what level Michael will be offered the most scholarships.

Previously, Hart indicated Goodman had some interest from Georgia Tech and Syracuse.
