Goodman Has High D-1 Interest In His Skills

Reporter Mike Sullivan has the story on Michael Goodman

Michael Goodman, a 6-foot-6 and 225-pound forward from Christian Brothers Acdaemy in upstate New York, could still play later this month in Las Vegas, according to Albany City Rocks program director Jim Hart."

"He's been cleared to play," Hart said. "But you have to be careful too. He shouldn't be rushed back from his injury."

Hart said Goodman is at the Syracuse Elite camp, working on his skills. "It's a great camp," Hart said. "They do a great job at Syracuse in helping the kids along with their skill level."

Goodman has enough skills to be recruited by many mid-majors at this stage of his recruiting process. But he also has some interest from some high division one programs too.

"Miami of Florida and Georgia Tech have called to express interest," Hart said. "Michael is open of course in his recruiting."

Goodman, who is considered a highly regarded prospect in the 2009 class, has also had interest from Syracuse University.
